My genealogy work started in high school when we were given the task of doing special work about the family. At that time, I had my grandfather Hilder Vising alive. He had an incredible memory which in retrospect has proved invaluable.
I have for periods continued to work with the material and come further and further. Most of it applies to Norrbotten and Västerbotten, but the rest of Sweden and abroad are also on one corner. Family names that are included include Vising, Ågren, Groth, Hammarström, Kråka and Bure. Another interesting thing is a number of mayors in Norrköping, Nya Lödöse and Älvsborg.
